Science Teacher Required

An opportunity for a temporary Teacher of science has opened up with one of our partnership schools to aid their faculty between September and December. There is the possibility that this position could become permanent, though at this time the school is unable to confirm.
The suitable candidate for this position will have experience deliver Science to Key stage 3-4. KS5 experience would be advantageous, though not necessary. You should have a passion for your subject and belief in your own ability to be able to convey your knowledge and enthusiasm to the schools students. The are is one that draws pupils from many different backgrounds and their experiences of education previous to secondary will be very mixed. The school are looking for someone with the ability to adapt their teaching styles to be bespoke to a range of pupils to ensure all are able to access the curriculum that is taught.
Parking is provided on site to all staff. It is ideal that you live locally or are able to drive into the school. Public transportation is difficult in the area. You will be supported by a department who are well established and have 6 practitioners and 3 specialist support staff including Science Technicians to aid in planning and setting up of your lessons. The school is part of a wider academy trust that work on a local level predominantly but have links to other academy sites across the region. This allows staff to share resources, best practise and ideas to help influence the teaching of the students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
