The Headteacher at a renowned secondary school located at the heart of Salford is seeking a resilient Science teacher on a full-time basis from September 2019 (or earlier) to deliver Science across Key Stage Three and GCSE for the full academic year.

- Full-time Science teacher, required from September 2019 or earlier.
- Must hold QTS alongside relevant degree level qualifications within Science.
- Previous experience working with hard to reach young people within an education capacity will be highly advantageous.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23,720 - £39,406.
The incoming Science teacher can expect to join an established staff team, that are commended for developing innovative methods to support their pupils.

The successful Science teacher will be required to;
- Promote the school's vision, aims, objectives and values.
- Safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
- Effectively teach the National curriculum within the school's Teaching and Learning Policy.
- Develop schemes of work, resources, teaching and learning strategies, contributing to the monitoring and evaluation of all pupils.
- Plan, prepare and assess class work, in accordance with Senior Leadership Teams.
This growing secondary school has just over 600 pupils on roll, aged 11-16. Salford can be accessed via the M602/A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Manchester. There are also various public transport options available with links throughout Greater Manchester.
