Science Teacher – Newport

Full-Time & Flexible Opportunities Available | Make a Real Difference in the Classroom

Location: Newport
Contract Type: Full-Time | Flexible Work Options
⏰ Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Daily Rate: From £166.32 – paid to scale for longer-term assignments (£32,433 – £49,944 per annum equivalent)


Job Overview

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a passionate Science Teacher to support a vibrant and welcoming secondary school in Newport. The school is committed to fostering imagination, self-expression, and creativity, ensuring every pupil achieves their full potential.

  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons aligned with the national curriculum

Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
  • A degree in a science-related subject is desirable but not required
  • Strong understanding of the science curriculum and subject matter
  • Excellent communication skills and classroom management abilities
  • A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring the next generation of scientists
