Science Teacher – Secondary School – Levenshulme – September 2025 Start – Paid to Scale (MPS/UPS)

A well-regarded secondary school in Levenshulme is seeking a Science Teacher to join their dynamic and supportive department from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent position, ideal for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers.

The Role:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities to teach your specialist subject at Key Stage 5 (if applicable)

  • Plan and assess in line with the national curriculum, ensuring all pupils make strong progress

  • Use practical experiments and real-world contexts to make learning meaningful and memorable

  • Work closely with a dedicated team of Science specialists to share best practice and resources

  • Contribute to enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs, trips, or competitions

Key Details:

  • Location: Levenshulme, South Manchester

  • Start Date: September 2025

  • Contract: Full-time, permanent

  • Salary: MPS/UPS – Paid to scale

  • Suitable for: ECTs and experienced teachers in any science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
