Job description

Are you a passionate Science Teacher looking for a more flexible role this September?

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Science Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Rochdale for a part-time position starting in the Autumn term. The role offers 3 days per week, with flexibility on which days you work, making it ideal for those seeking a better work-life balance.


The Role:

  • Teach Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 optional, depending on experience)

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons (in some cases, pre-set work may be provided)

  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive classroom environment

  • Work collaboratively with the science department and wider school team


What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

  • Experience teaching Science in UK secondary schools

  • Strong subject knowledge in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • A flexible, proactive, and supportive approach

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
