'Due to an internal promotion within our Science department we wish to appoint an energetic and results driven Science teacher ahead of the new academic year. The incoming Science teacher will be required to teach all areas of Science to GCSE level, with all Science specialisms being considered for this opportunity. We have an excellent team of staff in Science who continue to boast results well above the national average with the majority of our pupils meeting expected progress' - Head of Science.

Science teacher applicant requirements;

• Must hold QTS and experience teaching all areas of Science to GCSE level
• Have a track record of achieving excellent results and be able to evidence these
• Be committed to working within a close knit team and take on full teaching responsibilities including; planning, marking, attending departmental meetings and parents evenings

Located in Farnworth, this is a school is easily accessible from the M61 and M60 making the surrounding areas easily accessible; Bury, Salford, Manchester and Chorley. Most recently judged by Ofsted as a Good school (2017), pupil behaviour and leadership and management were identified as particular strengths of this 11-16 mixed comprehensive.
