Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting a Science teacher on behalf of a client school located in Bolton.
Due to an unexpected long term absence within their Science department, this Ofsted graded good secondary school are able to offer a Science teacher a full time role on a 12 month basis from September 2018.

- Pay in line with MPS/UPS dependant on experience (£22,917 - £38,633)
Science teacher applicant requirements:
All Science teachers wishing to be considered for this opportunity must hold UK QTS and a PGCE/Equivalent specialising in secondary Science (All specialisms considered, Physics, Biology and Chemistry). The school hope to appoint a Science teacher who is able to build strong rapport with pupils and has the ability to consistently deliver 'Good' and 'Outstanding' practice. With results in Science standing out across the local authority, the incoming Science teacher will be able to provide every pupil with the highest standard of teaching and learning to ensure results continue to improve. Those passionate about raising pupil attainment and with proven records will fit perfectly into this department.
School details:
The school is an 11-16 mixed community comprehensive school situated on the border of Bolton and Wigan within Bolton Council's boundaries. It is average in size with around 1000 pupils on roll and the vast majority of children are of white British heritage. Located on the outskirts of Bolton, the School is easily accessible as it is only a short drive from the M61 and has direct transport links to the surrounding areas; Bury, Wigan, Chorley, Salford and Wigan.
Responsibilities:
The successful Science teacher will be required to take on a timetable consisting of both KS3 and GCSE classes ranging in ability. You will be required to plan and deliver engaging lessons, whereby you will have full access to excellent facilities and resources within this modern school. The school hope to appoint a Science teacher who is fully committed to attending departmental meetings, termly parents evening and also assisting in the deliver of twilight intervention sessions close to examination periods.
