School Escort /1:1 Mentor Required - Portsmouth School

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for casual term time School Escort's to transfer learners to and from a local SEN school in Portsmouth. Additional support will be available for suitable candidates on-site at the school.

Applicants should have previous experience of supervising children in an employed or voluntary position, have an understanding of health and safety procedures and have good communication skills. Pupils attending the schools have a range of medical and/or SEMH needs - experience of these needs would be desirable providing other relevant experience.

The successful candidate should be available on a full or part-time basis, have access to their own car and be covered by business insurance.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
