School Administrator – Mainstream Secondary School
Start Date: ASAP
Location: Bournemouth
A well-regarded mainstream secondary school is seeking an organised, professional, and proactive Administrator to join their supportive office team as soon as possible. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who thrives in a busy school environment and enjoys working collaboratively with staff, students, and parents.
Key Responsibilities:

Acting as the first point of contact for visitors, parents, and external stakeholders
-
Managing phone and email enquiries efficiently and professionally
-
Maintaining accurate school records and updating databases
-
Supporting the Senior Leadership Team with administrative tasks
-
Assisting with attendance, admissions, and safeguarding administrative processes
-
Preparing letters, reports, and documentation as required
-
Ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the school office
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
-
Previous administrative experience (school-based experience highly desirable)
-
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
-
Strong IT skills, including confidence with Microsoft Office and school MIS systems (SIMS/Arbor desirable)

A positive, adaptable, and professional approach
-
The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
-
A commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
