Start Date: January 2026

A welcoming and high-achieving mainstream school in Christchurch is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Religious Studies Teacher to join their humanities department on a part-time basis from January 2026.

The successful candidate will deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across KS3 and KS4, fostering curiosity, respect, and critical thinking in students of all backgrounds. The school prides itself on its supportive ethos, strong leadership, and commitment to providing a rich and varied curriculum.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be a qualified teacher of Religious Studies (ECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply)

  • Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for promoting understanding of world religions, ethics, and philosophy

  • Be able to inspire students through creative and inclusive teaching practices

  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and department enrichment opportunities
