Well respected Ofsted Good secondary school in Stockport require an RE Teacher for a one term post initially form Easter to the end of the academic year in July. The school are looking for an inspirational teacher of Religious Education to take on full responsibilities for planning and marking your own work and assisting the RE and Humanities department when required.

The successful teacher will be expected to have previous experience of teaching Religious Education across KS3, KS4 and GCSE Level. Located in the SK7 post code of Stockport the school has a local train station and accessible bus routes for those on public transport.

The school will be wanting to see candidates for lesson observations and interviews prior to the post commencing after Easter so you will need to be available to attend this. The school are looking for a passionate teacher of Religious Education who can hit the ground running and assist students ready for the end of year exams.You will need to have QTS in the UK, experience of teaching RE in secondary schools up to KS4, suitable teaching references and be eligible for a fully enhanced DBS certificate.
