Our client RC School based in Salford wish to appoint a high calibre Religious Education Teacher, starting in September 2018 to cover a Maternity leave within the Humanities department.

- Full time Religious Education Maternity cover, September 2018.
- Must hold QTS - both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
- Must uphold schools views and ethos.
- Pay in line with MPS/UPS (£22,917 - £38,633) Per Annum. Experience Dependant*
This developing RC Secondary school based in Salford, Greater Manchester has just over 1100 pupils on roll, modern facilities and state of the art resources. The incoming Religious Education teacher can expect to join a fully supportive staff team, led by a dedicated Senior Leadership Team who pride themselves in the improvement and inclusion of their pupils.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to;
- Lead a full time table covering the Religious Education curriculum to pupils across Key stages 3-4.
- Religious Education subject specialism is essential.
- Plan, prepare and assess work, reporting back to the Senior Leadership Team with relevant results and findings; taking appropriate action.
- Uphold the catholic views in respect to the Religious Education curriculum.
This larger than average RC Secondary school, is easily accessible via the M60 and the surrounding areas; Bury, Bolton and Wigan. It also has various public transport options with links throughout Greater Manchester.
