RE Teacher - Wakefield

I am currently looking to recruit a forward thinking and flexible RE Teacher on behalf of my Secondary school partner based in Wakefield. This role is full-time starting as soon as possible until October half-term at the very earliest with a view to carry on until December. You will be required to plan and deliver engaging and thorough lessons which are inclusive to all pupils. 

What I am looking for:

  • Experience of teaching GCSE Religious Studies
  • The ability to teach a wide variety of pupils
  • Be able to promote a school ethos throughout all lessons
  • Be sympathetic to the school ethos
  • Have the ability to manage classroom behaviour

This secondary school is a smaller than average school that holds around 700 pupils with a very strong and supportive senior leadership team and headteacher. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
