Teaching Personnel are working on behalf of a catholic secondary school in Prescot, Merseyside who have a temporary need for a Religious Education teacher on a long term basis after the Easter Break.

You'll be required to start work from the start of April working full time within the schools Religious Education department. The timetable consists of KS3 and GCSE Religious Education with some KS5, previous experience is required for any interested applicants. You may on occasion be asked to cover other lessons within the department; planning and set work will be provided along with the department's full support. The school is a mixed secondary in the Prescot area and was graded good overall during their most recent OFSTED inspection, due to facilities and a popular department, Religious Education is a subject with good pupil interest, the school are happy to consider all experience levels from interested Religious Education teachers, full support provided for newly qualified teachers.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
