Recruitment Resourcer – Manchester city centre – Candidate consultant in Education Recruitment.

Teaching Personnel Manchester are hiring for a Recruitment Resourcer (candidate consultant) to join our city centre office for an immediate start.

Do you have knowledge of the education sector through voluntary work in schools or an Education based degree? Or do you have previous experience working as a Resourcer in recruitment and want to work within the Education sector?

As the market leader in Education Recruitment, Teaching Personnel are constantly expanding due to growth in our business, this year alone we are supporting 20% more schools in greater Manchester than we did in the same time last academic year. Due to this success, we are seeking to hire a Recruitment Resourcer on a permanent basis ASAP. The successful applicant will work alongside our Secondary team, made up of 13 consultants and 3 geographical branches working with academies and secondary schools throughout Cheshire, Manchester and Lancashire. The role of Recruitment Resourcer or Candidate Consultant will involve the following daily duties;

  • Contacting teachers and teaching assistants to start the registration process
  • Communicating with the branches and consultants regarding all vetting aspects
  • Advertising positions on behalf of our client schools, permanent and temporary
  • Creating adverts and mailers for our internal mailing system
  • Data input of CV, career histories and references
  • General check in calls regarding placements and candidate availability for work
  • Conducting interviews with your candidate pool alongside the consultant

To be successful as a Recruitment Resourcer you will need to have great interpersonal and social skills. Attention to detail is extremely important, as is the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and candidates, both in person and over the phone. You will be the go-to during the registration process for candidates, retaining and recording information is an extremely important factor for this position. There are no specific qualifications required to be considered, graduates and aspiring consultants, or those from a previous administrative background are welcomed to apply… Teaching Personnel will give you an unrivalled level of support and the opportunity to progress and develop a career within recruitment. That could be leading a team of Resourcers across the North West or developing in to an Education Recruitment Consultant.
