Receptionist / Admin Assistant

Are you an organized and proactive individual with a passion for supporting educational institutions? We are currently seeking a dedicated Admin Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel to support a Secondary School located in Luton.

Position: Admin Assistant
Location: Luton based Secondary School
Hours: Full-time, term-time only
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience

Responsibilities:

• Providing general administrative support to the school office
• Assisting with reception duties, including answering phones and greeting visitors
• Managing school correspondence and emails
• Maintaining student records and databases accurately
• Assisting with the organization of school events and activities
• Collaborating with staff members to support the needs of students and parents

Requirements:

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software
• Previous experience in an administrative role (preferably within an educational setting)
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
