Qualified Teacher Required for Specialist School - September

Job description

Teaching Personnel are looking for a strong, enthusiastic teacher to work at a specialist School this September!

The role is to continue for the academic year and has the potential to turn permanent for the right teacher. Applications welcome from both primary, secondary, special school and mainstream Teachers.

About the School;

The school provides for boys and girls aged 3 to 19, with severe and complex learning difficulties. Class sizes at the school are small with a maximum of 10 pupils per class.

In addition to teaching staff, a team of learning support assistants is available to support pupils' throughout the school and every class has at least three support assistants but some have more than this, depending on the needs of the children in the class.

Support is also provided by the therapy, nursing and multi-sensory teams.

The role will be teaching cross curriculum to KS 2, 3 & 4 students. These students will have differing levels of learning and will require tailored learning plans to support them with their additional needs.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
