I am currently working with a primary special needs school in Bolton who are looking for Psychology Graduates who are interested in SEN Teaching Assistant roles.

The school provides education and care to children aged 2-11 years who have a range of special educational needs. All pupils attending the school have statements of SEN indicating profound and complex needs, severe learning difficulties or autistic spectrum conditions. Many pupils have additional physical or medical needs.

The school requires individuals who are able to work on a supply basis and at short notice with a wide range of SEN.

Some of the children in the school can be challenging, both emotionally and physically therefore a Team-Teach qualification is highly desirable. In addition some children require alternative communication methods such as PECS.

Any additional training such as Moving and Handling, Autism Awareness and Safeguarding are also highly desired. To apply for this post or to register for alternative work, please contact me.
