Psychology graduates needed in Barnsley!

Job description

An IR Unit located in a mainstream secondary school based in Sheffield are currently looking to appoint a Graduate Teaching Assistant ideally from a Psychology background. This role will be to commence after October half term and the Head teacher is looking to meet potential Phycology Teaching Assistants as soon as possible.

The Integrated Resource Unit which specialises in support for pupils with ASD. This works along SEN to ensure that pupils are supported in accordance to their need in all aspects of school life.

This particular role will involve working in KS3 -KS5 supporting pupils with ASD in achieving their full potential in English and Maths.

The ideal Teaching Assistant will have:

- Experience within an SEN School would be desirable

- A passion for supporting pupils with SEN

- The ability to support up to GCSE level in Maths and English
