Psychology Graduates Needed!

Job description

Are you a Psychology Graduate, who is excited at the thought of gaining experience working as a Teaching Assistant with pupils with SEN?

We are currently working with a SEN school in Slough that caters for pupils with PMLD. The school are looking for Psychology graduates who have a career goal to work in Education.

The Role

  • Supporting the main Teacher in a range of subjects
  • Working with pupils 1:1 or in small groups
  • Helping to engage pupils in physiotherapy and counselling
  • The School

This SEN school caters for primary, secondary and post 16 pupils with a range of SEN including autism, social emotional mental health needs, speech language and communication needs, physical disabilities and dyslexia. Staffs are highly knowledgeable with SEN and provide excellent facilities for pupils to learn, grow and develop to succeed in the workplace and live rewarding, independent lives.

You

  • Achieved 2:2 or above
  • Understanding of SEN from child development modules or educational Psychology.
  • passionate individual who can bring your supportive approach to helping SEN pupils
  • calm approach to challenging situations
  • Flexible communication skills.
