English Specialist needed – April 26^th start – Daily rate of GBP138 -180 – Full-time role!

Calling all English specialists! Teaching Personnel has a vacancy that is due to start April 26^th until the end of the academic year. The role is within the (CF44) Aberdare area supporting a small secondary school with the return to education and graded assessments. You will be offered a daily rate of GBP138 – 180 dependant one experience.

Our school has come to us in search of a secondary English teacher who is looking for a new challenge. As the UK lockdown period has had a serious impact on student’s education our school is on the hunt for a new passionate teacher who can help reinstall confidence within there students. In addition to supporting students within the school you will be required to work alongside the English department to create and promote the catch up UK programme.

During your time within the secondary school, you will be required to support KS3 and KS4 classes of students. You will be expected to complete planning and preparation for your lessons ahead with the head of English on standby if you require any further help throughout. You will be given access to multiple classrooms with interactive whiteboards, ICT suites and learning rooms to enhance your teaching throughout.  

The ideal English Specialist –

-        PGCE or PGCET qualification

-        Experience supporting KS3 and KS4 pupils

-        Able to work on a full-time basis

-        Able to travel to the CF44 Area

-        Experience with secondary aged pupils

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
