Job description

The Headteacher and governing body of a forward thinking and innovative Primary School in Oxford are seeking a full time Lower KS2 class teacher to join their over-subscribed, reputable school. The Headteacher has expressed the successful applicant will be joining a friendly, enthusiastic and well qualified team – the successful applicant will find this post stimulating, rewarding and also at times, challenging. This is a full time teaching commitment and will be in either Year 3 or Year 4 (exact year-group TBC). The contract will begin as temporary with the view to transition onto a permanent contract following a successful probation. 

The ideal candidate must be able to provide a learning environment for all to thrive and identify the possibilities for exceptional learners in LKS2. Applications are welcome from fully inducted and newly qualified teachers who are able to provide good-excellent references. The Headteacher is looking for the right balance between experience, enthusiasm and a genuine passion for teaching that will inspire pupils.  This school services a diverse catchment area, therefore candidates must have a good understanding of the different ways in which children learn and possess excellent differentiation skills. There will be a full time Teaching Assistant to hand to assist with group activities.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later
