Primary Teacher - Role:

We are recruiting for a Primary fully qualified teacher who will be expected to deliver fun and engaging lessons to encourage learning within and outside the classroom. The school is flexible and are happy to have the teacher work in their Key Stage 1 (KS1) or Key Stage 2 (KS2) class. The individual must have a strong passion to make a positive impact children’s learning and be an effective communicator with staff, pupils and parents. You will be joining a dedicated and professional team who are committed to providing a holistic education. You will be expected to hit the ground running with the support and collaboration with other staff members and the SLT.

Primary Teacher - School Details:

This school based in South East London, Abbey Wood has a motto of ‘ACE (Aiming high, Co-operating and learning together, Enabling everyone to succeed)’  and the school try their very best to develop the ethos of a caring community in which all pupils can achieve highly regardless of their background’. There are 336 pupils on roll aged from 3-11 years old with 14 classes and a MLD unit base for pupils with statements of special educational needs. In the schools latest inspection they continued to be ‘GOOD’. Throughout the school, members of staff know individual pupils well and they respond effectively to pupils personal, social and emotional needs in order to ensure their happiness and wellbeing.
