Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time Role in Swinton (January Start)

Teaching Personnel is proud to partner with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Swinton, currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time position (8:30 am – 3:30 pm), starting in January.

Your Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons tailored to Year 2 learners
  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing constructive feedback
  • Create an inclusive classroom where every child feels supported and valued
  • Collaborate with colleagues to share ideas and best practices
  • Commit to ongoing professional development and reflective practice

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching in Year 2 or Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Ability to differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Solid understanding of the national curriculum and current teaching methods
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Confidence in using technology to enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
