Year 2 Teacher – Supportive Primary School in Salford | March Start
Teaching Personnel is pleased to be working with a warm and inclusive primary school in Salford, which is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team from March. Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons for Year 2 pupils
- Monitor and assess progress, providing timely and meaningful feedback
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
- Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to whole‑school initiatives
What We’re Looking For
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching to meet diverse learning needs
- Good understanding of effective teaching strategies and curriculum expectations
- Confidence in using technology to enhance learning
Essential Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience teaching Year 2 or working with early primary learners
- Strong behaviour and classroom management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
