Teaching Personnel is pleased to be working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Salford to recruit a dedicated Year 2 Teacher. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community that values collaboration, creativity, and high-quality teaching.

About the Role

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and meaningful learning experiences within a nurturing environment. You will work closely with colleagues to support pupil progress and contribute to the school’s positive, team-focused culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver creative, well-structured lessons aligned with the Year 2 curriculum
  • Assess pupil progress and provide clear, constructive feedback
  • Create an inclusive, stimulating, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with staff to enhance teaching and learning across the school
  • Participate in CPD and contribute to wider school initiatives

We are looking for a passionate and adaptable teacher who:

  • Has strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Can effectively differentiate lessons to meet diverse learning needs
  • Demonstrates a solid understanding of the curriculum and effective teaching strategies
  • Is confident using technology to enhance learning
  • Brings enthusiasm and a commitment to making a positive impact

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 2 or within early primary settings
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
