Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time – Salford
Start Date: October half term | Hours: 8:30 am – 3:30 pm | Location: Salford

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Salford that is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team. The school places a strong emphasis on creating an inclusive, collaborative learning environment where staff support and inspire one another.

Role Overview:

As a Year 2 Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons that engage and motivate pupils, supporting their academic and personal development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and differentiated lessons for Year 2 pupils
• Assess, record, and report on student progress, offering constructive feedback
• Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborate with teaching staff to enhance educational outcomes
• Participate in ongoing CPD opportunities to refine your practice

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Previous experience teaching Year 2 or supporting early primary learners
• Strong classroom management and behaviour strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual learning needs
• Confidence using educational technology to support learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
