Year 2 Teacher – Join a Supportive Primary School in Salford | November Start

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be partnering with a warm and welcoming primary school in Salford, currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join their team from November. The school is known for its collaborative and inclusive ethos, where staff support one another and share effective practice to achieve the best outcomes for pupils.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, well-structured lessons tailored to the needs of Year 2 pupils
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work closely with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
  • Take part in ongoing professional development and whole-school initiatives

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • Up-to-date knowledge of effective teaching strategies and curriculum expectations
  • Confidence in using technology to support and enrich learning

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 2 or working with early primary learners
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
