Year 2 Teacher – Welcoming Primary School in Salford

Start Date: September

Teaching Personnel is delighted to be partnering with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Salford, currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team from September. The Role

As the Year 2 Teacher, you will play a key role in delivering engaging and purposeful learning experiences within a nurturing classroom environment. Working closely with colleagues, you will contribute to the school’s positive culture and its commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons in line with the Year 2 curriculum
  • Assessing pupil progress and providing clear, constructive feedback
  • Creating a stimulating, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching and learning across the school
  • Taking part in professional development and contributing to whole-school initiatives

We are looking for a passionate and adaptable teacher who is keen to make a positive impact.

You will have:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to differentiate teaching to meet a range of learning needs
  • A good understanding of effective teaching strategies and curriculum expectations
  • Confidence in using technology to support and enhance learning

Essential Requirements

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching Year 2 or working within early primary settings
  • Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
