Year 2 Teacher – Full-Time Opportunity in Partington (Start Date: November)

Teaching Personnel is proud to be working in partnership with a friendly and inclusive primary school in Partington, currently seeking a committed and enthusiastic Year 2 Teacher to join their team. This is a full-time role, running from 8:30am to 3:30pm, starting in November—ideal for an educator who is passionate about making a real difference in the classroom.

Role Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons for Year 2 pupils
  • Track and assess pupil progress, offering constructive feedback and tailored support
  • Foster an inclusive and encouraging classroom environment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share ideas and best practice
  • Take part in continuous professional development and reflective teaching

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Prior experience teaching in Year 2 or Key Stage 1
  • Strong classroom management and organisational abilities
  • Capacity to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners
  • Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and current educational approaches
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Confidence in using technology to support and enhance learning

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
