Primary Teacher

We are currently recruiting for a Primary Teacher for a school in the Hayle area. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, organised, and enthusiastic. 3 Years teaching experience is desired.

The ideal candidate will need to be creative to make learning fun and engaging for the students. Supporting the students is very important, you will need to monitor each students progress to allow you to plan their work appropriately and to give those who are struggling extra support, such as assigning them extra time with the teaching assistant. The ideal candidate will need to have good communication skills as you will also need to liaise with other teaching staff, parents, and the SENCO. You will be responsible for marking the students work, preparing lessons, and encouraging your students to achieve to their highest ability. Teaching will not be limited to only the classroom you can make lesson plans based around outdoor learning, school trips and assemblies, this will require good organisational skills. Being passionate about children’s learning is so important in this job role as you will be teaching them all subjects and you will be a role model to the children so its up to you to show them how important education is to ensure they achieve in education not just at the present time but throughout their lives. You will also be helping the school to make decisions on how they spend their Coronavirus Catch-up Premium, for example by giving the headteacher a list of students who you think would benefit from some extra tutoring and backing this up with examples of their work which would have been marked by you.
