This is an opportunity based across the Bradford area working at multiple schools that have great reputations and are known to foster a supportive and positive environment both for pupils and staff.
The role itself will be to effectively teach designated pupils and to undertake associated pastoral and general teaching duties in order to provide high quality and continuity of education to pupils in the absence of their 'regular' class teacher.
The successful candidate will:
- have previous teaching/lecturing experience
- establish a warm, caring, and supportive relationship with the pupils
- be able to manage challenging behaviour effectively
- have effective verbal and written communication
- support the use of support staff relevant to the class
- contribute to the provision of a safe, secure learning environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
