KS2 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistant

Team Teach qualified TA'S in the Borough of Hackney, East London

A highly regarded primary school in Hackney is looking for a TA to come in and work 1:1 with a pupil in KS2 who has particularly challenging behaviour. The school have suggested that someone with a minimum of 6 months experience of working in education and that has the Team Teach qualification would be best equipped for the role.

If you have the necessary experience of working in schools 1:1 with SEN pupils and are looking for work in the Hackney area, I would love to hear from you. We currently have a number of other vacancies in primary schools across East London that requires this type of experience.

To be considered for the role you will need to register with Teaching Personnel with your local Hackney consultant, undergo an enhanced DBS check and be able to provide details of two references prior to registration.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.
