Key Stage 2 Teacher

Teaching Personnel are excited to present a great opportunity for a Key Stage 2 teacher to join a vibrant and innovative primary school in West London. The school are looking for someone who can commit to two terms starting January 2020 to cover a maternity. The school is not far from Shepherds Bush Station (Central Line) and Kensington Olympia (London Overground). They have close links to the local community and strive to make local and international links to support learning and citizenship within the school.

Senior leaders have created a warm, vibrant ethos. Pupils are very positive about their school. They give visitors a cheerful welcome. They feel safe and are happy. Parents and carers are overwhelmingly supportive of the school. Leaders’ high expectations of pupils match the core values of the school. For example, pupils know that they must be resilient by trying their best to achieve.

The school introduced a new curriculum at the beginning of last school year to make learning more fun and meaningful for pupils. The curriculum is enriched with a range of educational visits including visits to museums and a local wildlife park. Pupils have very good attitudes to learning and enjoy coming to school. The relationships between staff and students are excellent and pupils appreciate the kindness of their teachers and the friendships they make. The school environment is generally very happy and pupils from all backgrounds and activities become fully involved in school life.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
