Primary Intervention Teacher

A Primary school we work closely with at Teaching Personnel are looking for a fully qualified teacher to take interventions, full time from September 2020 - December 2020 initally however, this could be extended until the SATs. 

This particular school is in Leeds and they are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated teacher who can help raise pupil attainment in all core subjects across the KS2 curriculum in order to improve SATs results next summer. The school are looking for a new teacher who has recent experience in KS2 and who is interested in running new initiatives to help pupils progress to their maximum potential. This may involve delivering other Interventions such as; Literacy, Numeracy and Behaviour.

• Candidates must be available school  hours and flexible with day to day and long-term work
• Candidates must have a positive attitude and have experience working with young people in a primary education environment
• Candidates must be enthusiastic and confident when working with primary school aged children of all levels and abilities
• Candidates need to be open to trial days and providing interventions for the school to improve and increase their pupil attainment and engagement levels
• Candidates need to show responsibility for their own learning  as well as personal and professional development through experience, qualifications and trainings
• Candidates must be able to work as a team and individually
• Candidates must have an up-to-date CV and a 6 year career history

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
