PPA Cover for KS1 and KS2
September 2020 start
A primary SEN school are looking for a PPA teacher to cover across the EYFS, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 classes. We are looking for a primary practitioner who is happy to teach across all year groups with consistent behaviour management. You would be teaching foundation subjects including Art, Geography, History, PE and R.E. With the PPA role.
You would be covering a gap in staffing and the role would be to start on Thursday 3rd September until Friday 23rd July 2021. The Head Teacher has expressed the possibility of a permanent contract being offered to the suitable candidate in the Spring/Summer term. The school is quite flexible with regards to the working hours and this can be discussed after the shortlisting process. They have said ideally, they are looking for someone to work 3 days a week however would consider offering the role on a full time basis for the right candidate.
Whilst you cover PPA in the classrooms there is a full-time teaching assistant who is familiar with the class and the daily routines. Knowledge of the Key Stage 1 and 2 National Curriculum is essential. This teaching position offers candidates the scope to develop their career and gain further experience working across all year groups. The school are interested to meet with both NQTs and experienced teachers for this role.
Normally the Head Teacher gives Teaching Personnel the opportunity to arrange a school visits for suitable candidates which will now be virtually.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
