1:1 LSA position for a PMLD primary class

  • Work with children who have PMLD
  • Hours are between 8:30am and 4pm

The range of disabilities requires the contribution of a multidisciplinary team with physiotherapists, occupational therapist, speech and language therapists and special school support assistants, all working co-cooperatively with the teaching staff to meet the individual needs of the students.

The school are currently looking for a teaching assistant to work in one of their PMLD classes. It is a primary aged class and there are 8 students in total in the group. There is a teacher and 3 other members of support staff. You would be required to work 1:1 with different students in the class.

The ideal candidate;

• Must have experience of working with children; SEN experience is desirable

• Suitable qualifications – either A Levels, a degree or Level 3 Diploma

• Available long term full time and immediately

• Must be able to provide reference contact details

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
