Physics Teacher - Lincoln

Full time A-level Physics Teacher required for an excellent Lincoln Secondary school, from the October half term initially until the end of the academic year.

Due to a member of staff taking a long term absence our partner Secondary school wish to appoint a passionate Physics Teacher to join their Science faculty from Jan, with a possible earlier start for the successful specialist.

• Full time Physics Teacher required from October half term 2018 to deliver up to KS5
• Salford Secondary school for two terms, till the end of the academic year.
• Must hold QTS along side subject specific qualifications.
• Both experienced and newly qualified teachers are welcome to apply.
• Opportunity to work in an Ofsted rated 'Good' Secondary school.
• Pay in line with MPS/UPS £23, 720 - £39, 406.

The Lincoln based Secondary school has continued to develop within all areas. With just over 1200 pupils on roll, aged 11-16 and has been noted for their engaging learning and teaching, pupils are encouraged to take advantage of all the opportunities accessible to them.

The responsibilities for the Physics Teacher will include;

• Plan, prepare and deliver dynamic Physics lessons in accordance with the National Curriculum for Science to KS5 (A-level).
• Assess, monitor and track the progress of all pupils, taking appropriate actions for pupil's development.
• Manage behaviour in class according to school behaviour policies and promote a growth mind-set amongst all pupils.

The Secondary school is easily accessible from the surrounding areas; Grantham, Newark, Lincoln and Sleaford. There are also various public transport options readily available.
