Job Title: Phase Manager
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Job Location: Southport, North West
Job Salary: £32,000 - £39,000 per annum
Are you currently seeking a new role in Education to start in the new academic year? Teaching Personnel Permanent Work Force are currently working alongside an Ofsted rated 'Good' Further Education College who are actively seeking to bring in a Phase Manager to lead a team of managers and students in one of four phases.
The main duties of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Works with the Principal to ensure that the aims, values and objectives of the College are achieved through an accurate and effective self-evaluation and development plan
- Provide strategic direction and leadership for the college in line with the ethos and vision.
- Provide effective management of the college and phase including day to day organisation, and phase related tasks.
- Have line management responsibility of the Phase team.
- To provide leadership in the devising of students’ individualised timetables and cover of teaching and learning.
- Provide outstanding learning opportunities for all students in collaboration with tutors.
- To support tutors with student individual plans/documents
- Consider and action appropriate support for every student in their learning, making them feel included, secure, and valued.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Line manage staff members through the college’s staff appraisal procedures
- Support the management of staff well-being within the college environment
- Support and implement staff development opportunities across the College
- To ensure staff are effectively deployed to meet the needs of the College and pupils
- Support the Principal in holding the college budgets ensuring value for money;
- Support and provide overview of internal school budgets held by staff ensuring they remain within agreed limits
- Support the staff team in ensuring that the school has the correct resources to enable outstanding progress to be made in all curriculum areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
