Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant – Greater Manchester

Looking to build a career in education, psychology, therapy, or mental health? Gain hands-on experience supporting children and young people in specialist SEN and SEMH schools across Greater Manchester.

As a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll work with pupils who have a range of additional needs, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH needs, learning difficulties, speech and language needs, anxiety, and trauma-related behaviours.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis.
  • Helping students engage with learning and develop confidence.
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
  • Building strong relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Supporting individual learning and behaviour plans.
