Are you a fully qualified Performing Arts teacher looking for a new role in a reputable secondary school? Do you live in or around the Trafford area?

On behalf of a client secondary school, we are currently looking to appoint a Performing Arts Teacher on a full time temporary basis. This is a maternity cover role starting March 2019 until January 2020. If you are a competent and enthusiastic Performing Arts teacher looking for an introduction to your next teaching position then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Highlights of the role:

  • Full time Performing Arts teacher required in Trafford
  • Temporary role for a maternity cover starting March 2019 - January 2020
  • Pay in line with MPS/UPS - £23,720 - £39,406
  • Ofsted rated 'Good' secondary school
  • Teaching KS3 and KS4 Performing Arts
  • Great location - accessible from in and around Greater Manchester

The successful Performing Arts teacher will be joining a dedicated team within a large, mixed secondary school. Recent Ofsted reports graded the school 'Good' in all areas which they are extremely proud of and would like the incoming teacher to deliver quality Performing Art lessons to ensure high standards and pupil attainment in the subject are maintained.

The secondary school located in Trafford is very accessible from central Manchester and surrounding areas including Salford. For non-drivers, the school has regular and reliable public transport links close by and for those travelling by car, the school offers a large and secure onsite car park for staff.

Performing Arts teachers interested in applying for this position will:

  • Hold QTS with a specialism in Performing Arts / Drama
  • Have experience teaching at KS3 and GCSE level
  • Be committed to working in a school delivering excellence
