If so, please see details of an exciting opportunity to cover an extended maternity leave at our client school;

* Post expected to start at the start of March and continue until at least Christmas

* Physical Education teacher with previous experience teaching Swimming required

* £110 - £150 per day (in line with M Scale initially)

Our client school in Oldham, have a post for a qualified Physical Education teacher to join them on an initial part time basis, working Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays teaching PE and Swimming to their secondary cohort. Our client school is well provisioned and the successful applicant will benefit from state of the art facilities to teach Physical Education across a wide range of subjects.

The school is well regarded in the local community and caters for students through 4 – 18 with a selective intake policy and results are in the top quartile across the LEA for attainment and progress. The school is located a short distance from Oldham City centre, and can be accessed via a number of public transport routes including an excellent bus service.

Requirements of this position;

* PGCE specialising in Physical Education or relevant teaching based qualification

* Previous experience teaching multi-sports and swimming across age and ability range

* The ability to deliver lessons to a high standard consistently, encouraging excellence
