Online Teacher

-          Looking for qualified teachers who are either available now given the current national school closure or are looking ahead to when schools reopen and are due to be available (September)

Opportunities for:

• Remote tutoring and teaching via online platforms
• Support students who are identified as key worker students or vulnerable
• Register remotely in advance of schools reopening which will prove to be a very busy period of time with lots of requirements for supply and permanent teachers

Schools are setting themselves up ready for the ongoing situation and have a variety of needs for teachers and tutors to be able to teach their students on a remote basis. This is being done on a remote basis using online learning platforms.

If you are IT literate and have the relevant infrastructure in place including microphone and speakers to ensure learning takes place following school guidance and curriculum then apply now. There are also opportunities looking ahead to September or when schools come to reopen.

Key highlights of the online teaching/tutoring role:

• Pay will be dependent upon prior experience and area of expertise but potential to earn up to GBP25 per hour or GBP125 per day
• Need for English and Maths tutors who are able to teach up to GCSE level but teachers of all subject specialisms are encouraged to apply
• Work with a variety of students across the age and full ability range
• Requirement to undertake a remote video interview and meeting prior to a face to face meeting as social distancing is relaxed in the coming weeks.

Whilst there is the opportunity to teach students online, teachers are still expected to be based in the Greater Manchester area as there will be the requirement to come to the office (when the social distancing measures are relaxed) to finalise your registration. There will also be opportunities to support pupils in schools when they come to reopen.
