Learning Support Assistant Required to Work in Inclusion Unit

Are you an experienced learning support assistant? Could you make a difference to the lives of youngsters who present with: social, emotional and behaviour needs?

Teaching Personnel have recently teamed up with a school in the NG7 area who have recently built an inclusion unit for pupils who struggle to manage their behaviours within the mainstream school. The school are looking for somebody who is a minimum CACHE level 3 qualified teaching assistant or educated to graduate level.

The role will involve:

- Working with pupils both 1:1 and in small groups

- Looking at strategies pupils can use to reintegrate back into mainstream education

- Supporting pupils with social and emotional needs

- Creating bespoke reward plans for children to follow

- Using current behaviour policies to ensure children are following inclusion unit rules.
