Catering to children aged 6 months to 5 years, the nursery is proud to offer outstanding care and early education, laying strong foundations for lifelong learning and development.
The Role
As an Early Years Educator, you will be an integral part of a passionate and supportive team. Working alongside experienced practitioners, you will help cultivate a nurturing, inclusive, and engaging environment for the children. Your duties will involve planning and delivering age-appropriate activities, assisting during mealtimes, attending to children's personal care, and contributing to a positive atmosphere for all.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver stimulating activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Monitor and record children's development, celebrating milestones and tracking progress.
- Build trusting relationships with children and maintain open, effective communication with parents and carers.
- Ensure the learning environment remains safe, clean, and welcoming at all times.
- Promote emotional well-being by providing comfort, encouragement, and support when needed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to foster a dynamic and engaging learning space.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
- Prior experience in a nursery or early years setting is desirable.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and its practical implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A genuine enthusiasm for working with young children and supporting their development.
Working Hours
This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. The nursery promotes a healthy work-life balance and is committed to providing a supportive working environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
