Nursery Practitioner - Liverpool

About the Nursery:
This long-established and highly respected nursery is dedicated to creating a safe, enjoyable, and stimulating environment in which children can flourish. Catering for children aged 6 months to 5 years, the nursery takes pride in providing outstanding care and early education to set every child on a path to success.
Your Role:
As an Early Years Educator, you will play a key role within a passionate and supportive team. Working closely with experienced colleagues, you will help to create a nurturing and enriching setting for children. Your responsibilities will include leading age-appropriate activities, supporting during mealtimes, attending to children’s personal needs, and fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Observe and monitor children’s development, recording their progress and milestones.
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and parents, ensuring effective communication at all times.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and hygienic environment.
- Support children’s emotional well-being, offering comfort and reassurance as needed.
- Work collaboratively with the team to create a stimulating and dynamic learning environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a minimum NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or an equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in a nursery or childcare setting is desirable.
- A sound understanding of the EYFS curriculum and its practical application within a nursery setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and contributing to their development.
Working Hours:
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm. We value a healthy work-life balance and offer a supportive and friendly working environment.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
