Nursery Nurse
Job description
We are currently recruiting for Nursery Nurses in Sandwich!

Pay rate: £77-110 per day
Working hours: 8-5/5:30
Responsibilities:
Work well with the class teacher/ Room lead to deliver high-quality care for the children.
Guide and supervise children in their daily routines, including academic work, playtime, outdoor learning/play and mealtimes.
Work with children on a 1:1 basis.
Create a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive behaviour and well-being among our young learners whilst being an excellent role model.
Maintain records of pupil progress, attendance, and behaviour, and report to the class teacher regularly.
Establish effective communication with parents, providing detailed handovers at the end of the day.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience working within an early year setting or primary school is preferred.
A Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable but not essential.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, and colleagues.
A patient and nurturing approach, with the ability to create a positive and productive learning atmosphere.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage varying tasks and priorities.
A passion for education and a commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
