Welsh Medium Maths intervention teacher in Llanelli

Teaching Personnel’s primary consultant is recruiting a Welsh medium teacher for a KS2 intervention classes. There is a primary school in Llanelli looking for a specialist teacher to work for the whole academic year provided intervention classes to groups of KS2 pupils. The classes will have 8-12 pupils of higher ability (more able and talented) and will all be taught through the medium of Welsh.

To be considered for this role you must be registered with the EWC , have a DBS on the update service, have recent experience teaching higher ability numeracy to KS2, , have a sound knowledge and practical experience of using a variety of assessment for learning strategies and have excellent interactive lesson planning skills.

The position will start in November and the ideal candidate must be fully vetted over the summer period to be put forward for an interview.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
