Newly Qualified Teacher – Wimbledon – South West London

Teaching Personnel are looking for a newly qualified teacher for a full-time position based in Wimbledon. The enthusiastic individual will have the opportunity to work in a positive and dynamic 2-form entry primary school, rated 'Good' (Ofsted 2019).

The school is looking for a proactive individual who will get on well both with the pupils, other members of staff and the role. This is a temp to perm position as the school are looking to recruit the individual permanently upon a successful academic year. Some work will be prepared; however, the right individual will be expected to work with other staff member in creating engaging and effective lesson plan. The NQT will able to use their initiative to ensure the delivery of the work is as engaging and adapted to suit the class pupils.

The Head Teacher says “We want our children to achieve well and become contributing, empowered and fulfilled members of society..”. The School requires an individual who is able to add bonus value to the current staff members and work together to ensure each student is given a good step in their development.

Person Specifications

  • Newly Qualified Teacher
  • Strong KS2 Teacher (Flexible on year group)
  • An individual who promotes the inclusion of all pupil
  • Experienced in teaching all core and other subjects
  • KS2 experience (Year 3 – Year 4 is Desirable)
  • The duties of this role will be carried out in accordance with National Teachers Pay and Conditions Document

Placement experience in KS1 – KS2

Determination and Dedication

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
