Teaching Personnel are proud to be one of only 33 approved providers of the National Tutoring Programme.
This is a scheme of funding which allows school to access tutoring to support in the learning loss due to COVID lockdowns.
Primary schools situated across Berkshire are seeking a pool of fully qualified teachers to support this tutoring in their schools. This would be a flexible role with various opportunities. The schools have completed assesments to identify gaps that need filling. The tutors will have a consultation with the childs class teacher but planning and delivering feedback will be required.

Responsibilities of the role include:
• Adhering to the school's Policies and Procedures
• Providing pupils with necessary feedback, encouragement and support
• Setting the right example always
designing and delivering enriching sessions
Requirements of the candidate:
- Ability to travel into schools to deliver face to face tuition
- Right to work in the UK
- You will need to hold UK QTS and have completed NQT induction
- To possess effective engagement and behaviour management strategies
- Having a DBS already on the Update Service or the willingness to complete a new DBS application
- Ability to communicate effectively with others
There is a set of Complusory modules that all tutors under the National Tutoring Programme will be required to complete. This is for every skill or experience levels and no exemptions can be given - this is due to strict required needed for the Government funding of the NTP for schols to access heavily subsidised tutoring. This is unpaid and you can expect it to last about 12 hours.
The successful candidate will join a committed community of educational professionals with opportunities to complete CPD courses. They will be able to bring energy and enthusiasm to the role and will be able to instil an enthusiasm for learning across all key stages.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
