Music Teacher - September - Bristol

Teaching Personnel Bristol are currently recruiting for a fully qualified Music Teacher to join a successful Music department on a full time basis from September 2018.

About the role:

• You will be joining the school on a long term basis for the full academic year, and this role is full time.
• The successful candidate will be confident in teaching KS3, KS4 and A Level.
• The pay for this position is between £110-150 per day - dependant on experience.

About the School:

The college located in Bristol, is the largest post-16 centre in the Bristol-Bath-South Gloucestershire region, with state of the art facilities. The college was almost entirely rebuilt in 2009 to provide university-standard facilities to students within a relaxing and supportive environment. Due to this being a sixth form college the ability to teach A Level is a requirement.

Academic Success

The A-level pass rate across the whole college last year was 97%, with the 141 students on the College's Advanced Graduate Programme achieving an impressive 99.1% pass rate. The college provides students with a huge choice of 47 different A-level courses, and this year 23 of those subjects are boasting a 100% pass rate.

In the College's last OFSTED report inspectors found that "students benefit from excellent care and support", they "enjoy their learning in bright, welcoming classrooms", they "enjoy lively teaching and make good use of the opportunities to learn on their own outside the classroom". The college is overall rated 'GOOD'.
