Music Teacher or Newly Qualified Teacher of Music

There is currently an open vacancy for a high quality Music teacher to join the performing arts department at a large school in Oldham. This is a full time position starting in the upcoming academic year, however there is the potential for an earlier start date for the correct candidate.   • Full time Music teaching position, September 2018 start or sooner if possible.
  • Teaching a full timetable of KS3 and GCSE classes
  • Full departmental responsibilities of planning and marking are required
  • Pay in line with teaching scale point (£22,917 - £38,633 per annum)

Our client school is located in Oldham, close to major transport links and a short drive from the the Hollinwood junction off the M60 ring road. Due to recent financial investments, students and staff can benefit from outstanding provisions for learning and state of the art facilities throughout. The school have a strong existing Performing Arts department with excellent development and support measures in place, meaning the successful candidate will have full support in becoming a success in the school and be offered realistic progression opportunities, making it a great place for a NQT to gain experience or for an existing experienced Music Teacher to further their career in a secondary environment.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualification and training for this role. For teacher roles, we require a formally recognised teaching qualification. For Support staff our minimum requirement is GCSE English & Maths (A-C) or equivalent.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
