Teacher of Music

Confident teaching KS3-KS5 Music? If so we have the perfect role for you!

A mainstream Secondary School in Darwen is a popular school for students aged 11-18 with approximately 1200 students on roll. The school is situated in a pleasant rural location with a wide range of available amenities. To complement the surrounding rural location, the school is well placed for commuting via public transport with an excellent rail service from the town itself, as well as other local rail stations.

The successful candidate will:

  • previous experience of teaching music across the key stages
  • good subject knowledge and musical aptitude yourself
  • a passion for teaching music that inspires learners of all abilities
  • high expectations of what students can achieve
  • flexibility and enjoyment in working in a busy school environment
  • ability to prioritise and organise workload.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
