Job description

Year 5 Teacher required for an Operation cover within a ‘Larger than Average’ Primary School.

  • Experienced working within a KS2 class setting within the last twelve months and excellent classroom based references are essential for this role.
  • Minimum of 3 months cover within a mixed Year 4/Year 5 class.
  • Opportunity to secure a longer term role within a ‘Good’ school.

A larger than average primary school located on the outskirts of Salford is seeking to recruit a teacher to cover an operation. The role will be within a mixed Year 4/5 class, consisting of 34 mixed ability pupils.

The position is to start in September until December, experience delivering the National Curriculum & evidence of excellent Primary School classroom practice references is essential, as the school has extremely high standards of pupils attainment and behaviour. There are a high number of pupils not meeting the National Standard within this class, therefore experience planning,

delivering and differentiating to lower ability pupils and a proven track record of raising attainment is highly sought after for this role.

This position offers candidates the scope to develop their career within a Primary school, alongside upholding high expectations of learning, attainment and behaviour. There is also the opportunity for NQT’s to complete terms of their induction.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
